Eco Skincare was inspired by my attempt to row 2,400-miles across the Pacific to raise awareness of plastic pollution. I wanted to create a world where beauty isn't a burden on our oceans. Our mission is simple: clean skin, clean conscience, clean oceans.

We've curated a collection of ocean-friendly skincare, and where plastic-free options didn’t exist, we crafted our own line - handmade in Sussex, vegan, cruelty-free, biodegradable ingredients and with a focus on plastic-free.

In the UK, an estimated 118.8 million plastic conditioner bottles are discarded each year, underscoring the urgent need for more sustainable solutions. While recycling is often seen as a fix, less than 50% of bathroom plastics are recycled, and even those that are don’t offer a long-term answer. Plastic degrades each time it’s recycled, eventually becoming unusable and contributing to landfill and ocean pollution. This makes reducing single-use plastic consumption critical if we are to tackle the growing environmental crisis.

The good news is that alternatives like aluminium bottles are now available, offering a more sustainable path forward.
