Eco Skincare was inspired by my attempt to row 2,400-miles across the Pacific to raise awareness of plastic pollution. I wanted to create a world where beauty isn't a burden on our oceans. Our mission is simple: clean skin, clean conscience, clean oceans.

We've curated a collection of ocean-friendly skincare, and where plastic-free options didn’t exist, we crafted our own line - handmade in Sussex, vegan, cruelty-free, biodegradable ingredients and with a focus on plastic-free.

The UK generates around 125,000 tonnes of plastic packaging during the festive period; that’s 9,124 times the weight of Big Ben! A whopping 66% of UK adults having bought beauty and personal care gifts as a Christmas gift, and with cosmetics, perfume and body care being the third most popular gift to receive it’s easy to see why!

However, go into any beauty shop and you’ll see rows upon rows of gifts all packaged in plastic. Where does this plastic go? Either to be recycled, or more likely, to general waste (did you know, 95% of cosmetic plastic is thrown away?!).
